This project started at the framing stage and finished with Dekorators composite decking and Fortress steel rails, 750 square feet of outdoor living space built to handle Colorado weather. Built the deck frame from the ground up, no existing structure to work around. Posts, beams, and joists set before a single board went down.
Dekorators Composite Decking
Dekorators brand composite boards throughout. Holds up to Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles without warping, cracking, or needing annual sealing.
Fortress Steel Railing
Fortress brand black metal railings installed on the perimeter. Clean sightlines, minimal maintenance, built to meet code.
Custom Gate & Fencing
Dark wood horizontal slat gate integrated into the covered patio space, matches the railing aesthetic and closes off the lower level.
Covered Patio Addition
Upper deck and covered patio structure added to the brick home exterior, extends usable outdoor space through most of the Colorado year.
